The more public aspect of E J Lance's practice are her striking, natural history and museum collection inspired large format murals. Again, there is often a surreal approach yet clearly a celebration of nature to create uplifting designs, to encourage wellbeing in the space. She has created these in a number of different environments including hospital memorial gardens, hospital patient gardens and for specific hospital internal areas. Two of her murals are in NHS Award winning gardens and her latest mural design was unveiled by HRH Prince Richard, Duke of Gloucester. Designs inspired by The National Trust, Hardwick Hall's collection will be created in the ICU Patient Garden, Royal Derby Hospital in Spring/Summer 2023.
