'Florence: Colour Me, Read Me' - March 2020
A series of ten illustrations responding to poetry inspired by Florence Nightingale and Nurses’ experiences, the work will be published and shared across the Derby & Burton’s hospitals and Museums for National Patient Experience Week 2020. Selected drawings will be shown as part of a Florence Nightingale Exhibition at Pickford’s House Museum from March 2020 until Feb 2021 marking the Bicentenary of Florence Nightingale’s birth.
'Tree of Light' - September 2020
Commissioned by Fleet Arts. Exploring the legacy of Florence Nightingales work, in particular the concept of air, water and the environment as key aspects for positive human health. Working with the community, a series of large scale ‘scalpel drawings’ ,lighted sculptures will be created, evoking a sense of human and natural anatomy, will be suspended into a ‘walkway of light’ installation in a wooded location in Derbyshire, encouraging viewers to walk amongst them.
